Cemetery Reports:
11-4-08
John Wells died on 11-1-2008 and was buried on 11-4-2008 in Section II, lot 37, plot C. A $450.00 check for a summer opening and closing was received from Belanger and Bullard.
11-12-08
Vendor voucher paying Country Memorial $460.00 for the delivery of 4 corner markers for the following:
Boisvert $115.00
Corriveau $115.00
Croke $115.00
LaPlante $115.00
Vendor voucher paying Howlett Lumber in the amount of $15.48 for miscellaneous supplies.
The Cemetery Commission will now meet on the third Tuesday of the month by appointment only until further notice.

The Cemetery Commission submitted to the Select Board for their consideration, our recommendation of an increase of cemetery fees as follows:
Plots from $50.00 to $100.00 for Holland residents
From $150.00 to $300.00 for non-residents
Perpetual Care (one-time cost)
1 Plot from $25.00 to $50.00
2 Plots from $50.00 to $100.00
3-4 Plots from $75.00 to $150.00
5-6 Plots from $100.00 to $200.00
7-10 Plots from $175.00 to $250.00
All other costs to remain the same (bound corner markers, standard grave and cremation grave opening and closings).
Price increase is to be effective as of January 1, 2009.

Pat and Sarto Caron met with Howard Fife at the cemetery where he selected 4 plots. We met again at the Town Hall. Howard Fife submitted a $430.00 check for 4 Plots ($200.00) in Section IX (146, 147 and 173, 174), Perpetual Care $75.00, bound markers $155.00.
We received from Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home a request to fill out a form from the Department of Veterans Affairs for the installation of a military marker (flat granite) for Thomas Mulrain who died January 28, 2007.
